Betty Russell, doctoral student in Dr. Joanna Groden's lab (currently located at Ohio State University), will be defending her dissertation research. The title of her seminar is “Topoisomerase IIalpha enhances the unwinding activity of BLM on recombination substrates and their interaction is necessary to prevent chromosome breakage”.
